Dr Bendall comes to visit

We were very lucky to have Mischa's Mum come in and share her knowledge about the brain and how we should be protecting it.

There are two types of cells in our brain called Neuron and Glial.







We loved looking at the images of the brain too.


Maia remembered that the left side of her brain helps her with school things. Sienna knows that the right side of her brain controls her creativity.








The brain has 6 parts to help us talk (Amelia)





"When Dr Bendall was squeezing the egg it did not break because of the hard shell,"said Sahaana.
"The only reason it broke was when she put pressure on one side," said Clemmie.
"That is why it is important to wear a helmet when we are scootering or riding a bike," said Molly.
